What's On

Mongolia 2016

Projects are the lifeblood of SHE. Our ideas/projects feature mainly around our chosen charity/charities for the year and preparing for the next year.

Our chosen charity for 2017 is Rare Cancers Australia

On Thursday 20th April 2017 SHE hosted the opening of

On Saturday the 22nd April 2017 we once again walked in support of Associated Country Women of the World, with other CWA members within the Wollondilly Group around Bradman Oval for ACWW (Associated Country Women of the World). Many of our members came along and joined us or cheered us on.

Our International Night will be on Thursday 1st June 2017, it will be a celebration of all we have learnt about our country of study, Nepal. We have hosted, local highland guest speakers Thao & Grant Hannaford, who have shared their experince with eye care in Nepal, they have travelled through Nepal and have given us a more personal insight to this little known country.

We want to let the public know that CWA is evolving and growing and to bring to their attention the very varied fields CWA is now involved in. Another exciting event that two of our members were involved in was Fashion Week Australia.

We march in the Australia Day Parade at Berrima and in the Tulip Time Parade at Bowral, this brings CWA awareness to the community and gives those participating a warm feeling of community, when cheered on.

We let our hair down and had a party to celebrate our 5th birthday in November.

The surface has only been skimmed and is ongoing and all projects will be highlighted on this website as and when plans are in place. It doesn't matter if it is a cake stall, a BBQ, a celebration or a march, we try to do it the SHE way and strive to make the event enjoyable, sometimes hard work but always rewarding and fun.
